Pomegranate, The Legendary Fruit
Pomegranate is the first known cultivated fruit, dating back more than 4,000 years. It's no surprise then, that references of this fruit is everywhere in the recorded history.
Aphrodite (Venus)
It's believed that this Greek "Goddess of Love & Desire" introduced the pomegranate to the island of Cyprus. Pomegranate trees were planted around her Temple of Love.

Pomegranate was a symbol of strength, most persian warriors in the ancient time believed that eating pomegranate made them strong and invincible.
Garden of Eden
Some religious and anthropologist scholars believe that the fruit from Tree of Life that Eve introduced to Adam was in fact a pomegranate, NOT apple!
